What does it take to work for Double Eagle Security Services?
At Double Eagle Security, our staff are considered members of our family, and are a cut above the rest. We realize that it is our Officers who deliver Double Eagle's promise of extraordinary service to our clients, and pride ourselves in maintaining a crew of highly motivated employees who take pride in their work.
Security work is not always exciting, but does run a full gambit of situations. An officer may find himself watching an unoccupied building for 8-12 hours, or spend an entire shift breaking up large crowds and dealing with unruly people. However, the majority of shifts could easily be described as boring or monotonous. Our officers have to be willing and confident in their ability to manage any situation.
We expect a lot from our employees. The type of individual we look for to join our crew are people who know how to work hard. The security field demands long hours and often unpredictable schedules. Flexibility is key. An ideal candidate is someone who can work a variety of shifts, who is willing to accept a shift with little notice, and stay until the job is done. We need dependable people who know how to work as a team, but also have the self-motivation to work dependably on their own. We look for people who are passionate about what they do, and strive to always deliver the very best for our clients. We are most often in need of part time staff who are looking for 6-24 hours per week. The unpredictability of the security field means that a new client can come along at any moment, and we count on our staff to step up and deliver.
Some of the basic requirements we have for our staff include:
- Reliable transportation to reach a variety of client properties
- Valid driver's license
- CPL - while not required, we prefer to hire staff with a CPL to be able to work armed sites
- Cell phone to be reached at all hours
- Computer with reliable internet access for sending reports and receiving company information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word for writing detailed reports
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long shifts
If you think you have what it takes to be part of our family, you can send us your resume with a detailed cover letter explaining why you would be an ideal candidate. Military veterans take precedence over other candidates, with our thanks for your service. Vets should include their undeleted DD214 with their resume. Resumes and cover letters should be sent to office@doubleeagless.com.
